Setup

Sit on the floor with legs extended straight in front and slightly elevated. Hold a dumbbell with both hands at chest level.

Instructions

1. Rotate the dumbbell to one side, bringing it near your hip.
2. Rotate to the other side in a controlled arc.
3. Follow the weight with your torso.
4. Keep your legs still and elevated.
5. Maintain a flat back.

Common Mistakes

1. Rounding the lumbar spine.
2. Moving the legs instead of the torso.
3. Moving too fast.
