Setup

Lie on your back with feet flat. Hold a dumbbell with both hands, arms extended straight up.

Instructions

1. Perform a sit-up while keeping your arms vertical.
2. At the top, rotate your torso to one side.
3. Lower back down slowly.
4. Repeat, rotating to the other side.
5. Maintain a braced core throughout.

1. Rounding the lower back.
2. Dropping the arms.
3. Using momentum to sit up.
