Setup

Sit at the station. Grip the bar with a wide pronated grip. Lean forward slightly or sit upright as the bar is pulled to the upper traps.

Instructions

1. Pull the bar down to the base of your neck.
2. Squeeze the shoulder blades together.
3. Return the bar slowly to the top.
4. Maintain a neutral spine.
5. Focus on the upper back contraction.

1. Straining the neck.
2. Pulling too low.
3. Using too much weight.
