Setup

Set a barbell on your front deltoids (clean grip or cross-arm). Stand in front of a bench. Brace your core.

Instructions

1. Lower your hips until they lightly touch the bench.
2. Keep your elbows high to maintain bar position.
3. Pause briefly without relaxing.
4. Drive through the midfoot to stand up.
5. Maintain an upright chest.

Common Mistakes

1. Letting elbows drop.
2. Rounding the back.
3. Weight shifting to the toes.
